May 2023 Reading Wrap-Up!

Happy June fellow bookworms! Pride month is upon us, and I am so so excited to share all the LGBTQ+ books that I’m going to read. Before we do that though, let’s talk about all the books I read in the month of May! I did a little less reading this month than usual – I started a new job and I love it so much but all my time is slipping through my fingers at an unseemly rate. Nonetheless, I still got in some excellent books.

Mysteries of Thorn Manor (Margaret Rogerson)

This sequel novella to Sorcery of Thorns was INCREDIBLE. Nothing makes me more excited to read and write fantasy, fluffy fun fabulous fantasy, like Rogerson’s work.

Spell on Wheels (Kate Leth)

A darling page-turner of a graphic novel that features excellent diversity, fantastic art, and a plot that kept me engaged and wondering what would happen next.

Murder’s A Witch: A Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery (Danielle Garrett)

A super fun cozy mystery that’s what I think we can safely call an urban fantasy! I love it—so cozy, so fun, so classically of the genre. 10/10 reading experience.

The Tea Dragon Society (K O’Neill)

This was such a sweet graphic novel. I loved the art style, I loved the storyline, and I loved the disability representation. `
